Abstract

With the development of globalization, the disintegration of culture has already presented in many places of China. Many cities began to pay attention to the regional culture in order to avoid the loss of their own characteristics. The regional culture should meet the requirements of contemporary design. They try to make a unity of globalization and localization and a unity of traditional culture and contemporary science. Through the analysis of the key points of regional culture development, this paper explores the application of regional culture in the local economy by taking the Guiguzi culture as an example. We elaborated the development content of regional culture in regional revitalization. The establishment of culture channel, extraction of cultural symbols, endowed with spiritual connotation and combined with the new technology and new media will make a unity of the region culture and contemporary design. Making the region culture integrate into the urban personality for the Regional revitalization.
