Abstract

The most promising field of application of superconductors lies in the creation of magnetic systems, for which materials are required in the form of long wires and strips of small diameters and thicknesses; the creation of magnetic fields by means of bulkier superconducting parts (tubes, rings, and so on) is already being studied [1].
