Abstract

This study aim to present the Spanish women’s situation during the Franco’s Regimen and during others periods like II Republic and the first time of Spanish’s Democracy. It was decided to divide it into two parts. The first part is titled The decline of the Spanish woman, where the situation of women during the first Francoism is exposed. The second part is titled A beam of light at the end of the road, where we can notice a certain sense of freedom still conditioned by society, but in which female individuals start to detach from that first self-sacrificing woman.
