Abstract
The ``Global Access{''} Range of Dacia/Renault has to handle a hugediversity in order to manage a global production for our customersworldwide.It's about conceiving 16 vehicles in 4 interconnected R&D centers andmanufacturing in 12 plants on four continents in the context ofmulti-sourcing.This is possible by using a strong and versatile Product LifecycleManagement (PLM) system which permits a real-time coordination for allR&D operations involving updating, sharing, transferring and archivingof all type of current data (3D, Working Breakdown Structure/WBS orstandard documents).The paper shows briefly the main characteristics of the Renault/Dacia'sPLM System and why this solution is optimum.
