Abstract

Biochemical tests had been used to place mycelial isolates of basidiomycetes from fruit crops, trees, and shrubs into homogeneous groups. Representative isolates of some groups were tested for pathogenicity using strawberry as an indicator plant, and Koch's postulates were confirmed by using biochemical tests to match fungi re-isolated from innoculated plants with those used to inoculate plants. © 1978 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
