Surgeon perceptual errors are the leading root cause of biliary injury during laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Laparoscopic biliary ultrasonography utilization remains low, despite demonstrable benefits, due to misperceptions of a difficult surgeon learning curve. This chapter will demonstrate the technique for laparoscopic biliary ultrasound.
