Abstract

This research analyses the circumstances of hazards from factory activities which evaluate the causes and effects of three main hazards occured in a pipe manufacturing company in Malaysia. Methods of analysis include Ishikawa diagram (Cause to effect diagram), HIRARC analysis summary and Pareto chart as well as solution (prevention) on those hazardous activity included in result and discussion section. Result of the data analysed show that 20% of activity will cause 80% problem inside the factory. In particular, among the activities which cause risk that need to be focused on for improvement are insertion of material, inspecting a cutter product and material transportation is the activity. The report finds that prioritization in safety and healthy workplace for all workers are doable by considering the environment and job scope allocated to further access the situation of hazards that likely to occur.
