This handbook discusses trends and models in mental health services and delivery systems for children, adolescents and families. A variety of settings are examined including school-based mental health programs, pediatric primary care settings, community mental health centers, rural areas and therapeutic camps. Additionally, the book discusses the provision of mental health services to a variety of populations including homeless families, children with chronic illness, adolescent sex offenders and sexually active adolescents. The book concludes with a discussion of the future of mental health service delivery, presenting an agenda for research and organization.
