Abstract

With the explosive growth of mobile data, the operators are facing severe energy consumption and economic problems, and the major challenge of sustainable development needs to be solved urgently. The base station is connected with renewable energy to offset part of the energy consumption, but the collection of renewable energy is random, which requires coordination by smart grid to realize the stable operation of the base station. Therefore, considering the time-sharing price of power grid, this paper proposes the optimal energy sharing scheduling and load control method of 5G base station cluster with mixed energy access. Meanwhile, in order to attract base stations to conduct energy exchange, an aggregator with energy storage system is introduced and a day-ahead energy storage scheduling model is established. This paper proposes a real-time demand response model based on master-slave game considering profit maximization. The optimal day-ahead scheduling of energy storage system was solved in the day-ahead stage, energy compensation was carried out by energy sharing between base stations, and load control was carried out by base station sleep strategy. Finally, the simulation results show that the strategy can meet the quality of downlink communication and improve the system revenue more effectively.
