Multimedia watermarking started to take place as a hot topic in the hi-tech arena during the last two decades. Proper evaluation of the robustness of different watermarking techniques is highly demanded as it represents a trusted feedback to the algorithm designers, which helps them in enhancing their algorithms. This paper proposes a new tool that can effectively test the robustness of the developed algorithms against a list of well known attacks. A set of case studies has been used to demonstrate the capabilities of the tool to categorize various algorithms in terms of their robustness to different attacks. © Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 2010.
