This is the first volume of a work intended to bring together and place in context information on the genetics of Tribolium castaneum (Hbst.) and T. confusum Duv. that has appeared in informal newsletters and elsewhere. It includes sections (each with its own bibliography) on taxonomy and evolutionary trends, morphology (all stages), internal anatomy and histology, electron microscopy, chromosomes, developmental and post-embryonic studies and teratology. There is a general index to subjects.
