Abstract

Metabolomics is a unique tool in which metabolites are analyzed through various analytical tools like GC-MS, HPLC, NMS, etc. It is one of the omics approaches which provide proper understanding of the functioning of the organism at cellular level. Metabolites are the end products of a metabolic pathway and it can be used to design species wise and pathogen wise customized and personalized treatment. Metabolomics can be used as novel tool for the health management in aquaculture.
