This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The objectives of this review are: To determine if any type of ophthalmia neonatorum prophylaxis reduces the incidence of conjunctivitis in neonates. To determine which ophthalmia neonatorum prophylaxis is most effective at reducing the incidence of conjunctivitis in neonates.
