Abstract
In order to locate dynamic faults and ensure the reliability for complex software system, this paper extends the control flow graph which defined as ECFG, and discusses its properties for describing software structure. Further more, this paper studies the classification, format and generation of running record, and design the software monitoring method based on running record. Finally, it takes an example to show the influence of the running record on system performance, and discusses the sphere of application. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
