Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The goal of this review is to identify which interventions should be recommended for the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders and self harm behaviours in young offenders. Specifically, the objectives are:1. To determine what specific interventions for mood and anxiety disorders, and self harm behaviours are effective for young offenders, and;2. To determine whether specific interventions are effective in different types of disorder in young offenders (e.g. depression, PTSD).
