This article presents the PSClassroom Workshop, a professional development strategy aimed at providing mathematics teachers with tools and experiences to promote problem solving in their students. The workshop is low intensity, persistent over time, and considers the teachers as problem solvers, their experience solving problems, monitor-teacher interaction as a model for teacher-student interaction, planning, implementation and analysis of problem solving activities in classroom, exchange of experiences and ideas among peers and problems construction. Moreover, we present the results of an exploratory descriptive analysis of an experimental version of this workshop carried out on 2014.
