Abstract

Data has been everywhere because of the communication infrastructure available that consists of various dependent and independent entities including devices, people, and processes. The interconnected entities have changed the process of collecting and sharing information. This evolutionary paradigm of gathering, storing and analyzing data streams is called the Internet of Everything (IoE). The IoE is established on top of the IoT by adding the human element to the IoT network. In particular, the IoE can improve quality of lives via smart connection between people, processes, data, and things. This huge network and massive data exchanged among its particulars requires for intelligent, smart, and effective data management model. In this paper, we investigate the current state of data management for IoT/IoE and we found limited researches focused on enhancing the process of data management. Therefore, we introduce a data-driven data management model for IoT/IoE; the model ensures data governance, privacy, and includes advanced data processing. It also provides data services such as security and integrity.
