Abstract

In this article, we highlight the formation of a global policy network on citizen security, which is a concept that has spread all over Latin America since the beginning of the 1990s. We proceed with a formal social network analysis, relying on an original database on events, considering that those allow actors to connect and policy ideas to travel. This exploratory and empirical work provides avenues for future research.
