Abstract

A lot of localities in our environment are contaminated by toxic metals. Some of the living organisms are able to clean it. This is the result of their resistance mechanisms which allow organisms to survive and they appear as sorption of the harmful elements from the environment. The “in vitro” experiments are rather expensive and time consuming. The possibility of reducing the costs led to the idea of building a computer model and perform some experiments “in silico”. Now a basic model is ready and its functionality is being checked.
