Abstract

Although strictly speaking not a dermatitis and in fact more akin to a sunburn reaction, phytophotodermatitis (a term coined in 1942 by Robert Klaber1) describes a group of plantand light-induced combined skin effects. As would be expected, it has a much longer history than modern druginduced photosensitive reactions.
