Abstract
JRJ Carter Ltd of Basingstoke (UK) design and manufacture architectural fabric work; the family business began in the 19th century in the agricultural market but John Carter established himself only in 1989. His company has won many awards and has recently completed the Gateway to Portsmarth construction. The tri-sail shape uses PTFE-coated glass material which can withstand the windy maritime site.
