Abstract

Optical interferometry is now routinely used to image stars and their environments with sub-milliarcsecond resolution. We present here a brief review of model-independent interferometric imaging, discussing the most recent advances in regularisation, optimisation algorithms, and imaging procedures with minimal formalism.
