Pulsão de morte como efeito de supereu

Abstract

Diante da relativa indefinição da noção de pulsão de morte, assim como das grandes controvérsias a que deu lugar, a autora sugere que ao cunhar essa noção Freud apenas sinalizou sua preocupação com os fatos clínicos que ainda não tinha levado convenientemente em conta, e que só depois, com o desenvolvimento da teoria do supereu, ele consegue de fato cunhar ferramentas teóricas para a clínica dos quadros de atração pelo sofrimento e pela dor.In face of the relative indetermination of the notion of death drive, as well as of the great controversies it provoked, the author suggests that when Freud first presented this notion he only signaled his concern with clinical facts which had not been taken conveniently into account. Only later, with the development of the theory of the superego, he succeeded in obtaining theoretical tools for the clinic of the attraction for suffering and pain.
