Abstract

This article seeks to characterize the unequal and influential relationship between the public and private sectors of the Argentine and Buenos Aires Education System for the period 2001-2015. Taking as reference, the secondary education relates normative elements, forms of government, and statistical data on enrollment and indicators of internal efficiency for the level. After presenting the study problem and its relational and statistical approach, a series of conclusions are established to address the possible relationships between both sectors and the influence of governance processes that, in periods of economic and institutional development, maintain and even deepen educational segmentation processes.
