Nowadays equality between women and men is considered to be one of the aims of education. Nevertheless, the experiences, values and tasks historically performed by women and related to caring in domestic, family and personal life are not held in high esteemed neither by our societies nor by our schools; in spite of the fact that these are indispensable for the survival and the human development. This article suggests a different way of doing education more adapted to a reality in which men and women would live less restricted by gender corsets and would develop more egalitarian relations. It invites to transform the curriculum and the school culture from the perspective of the ethics of care.
