Abstract

Modern geodynamic processes are an integral part of the Earth's evolution, and they make a huge impact on human evolution. The lithospheric plates movement and interaction spawn seismic and volcanic activity, tsunami, landslides and other hazardous natural phenomena. The need to analyze reasons and consequences of hazardous natural events requires a research involving the processing and analysis of a large amount of heterogeneous data from various sources, including global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) data. None of existing observation networks can provide all required data for scientists, especially at the regional scale, where the density of the sites of global observation network is not sufficient for science studies. In these circumstances, the problem of interaction between multiple international data centers arises implying the need to work with large amounts of heterogeneous and multi-format data arrays. The paper gives a description of an automated information system for data management of a GNSS network developed and installed by FEB RAS for the purpose of complex study of modern geodynamic processes in the Far East of Russia and North-East Asia.
