Abstract

From leaves of Stevia rebaudiana bertoni (compositae), there were isolated three new sweet glycosides, named rebaudioside-C, -D, and -E. Application of 13C NMR spectroscopy as well as chemical evidences led to assign the structure V in Chart 1 to rebaudioside-C. © 1977, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
