Abstract

In this paper, we proposed enhanced spreading activation algorithm. Because SARM requires a lot of computation time, enhanced SARM is possible as reducing unnecessary activation value. By removing the parts with a small number of references in the retrieval process, the time taken for retrieval in simulation has been reduced by 37.8% in comparison with SARM. Also, in this paper, we focus performance evaluation of our component retrieval system. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
