Abstract

With the emergence of the concept about informal learning, museum learning has gradually moved from the edge of educational research to the center. Since learners have completely autonomous control over learning objectives, learning behaviors and learning paths during project-based learning in museums, how to evaluate teaching projects in museums has become the focus of researchers’. Therefore, starting from the evaluation of teaching projects in museums, this study defines the meaning of museum learning projects and establishes an evaluation index system of museum learning project in China, which includes 5 first-level indicators consisting of project investment, project activities, project implementation, project effect and project impact, 19 second-level indicators and 54 third-level indicators. In order to guide the evaluation of museum learning projects in China and promote the organic integration of museum learning projects and formal education in schools.
