Abstract

The article focuses on the advantages of batch processing and outsourcing of data in libraries. Overview of the services featured in batch processing which libraries to save time and get materials to users in a short period of time is provided. The initiative of GVSU Libraries to adopt batch processing which helped it to save time and budget as well as workload among employees is also mentioned.
