Abstract

There are a number of true congenital anomalies of gallbladder; most are rare and -usually asymptomatic. They are: Duplication, triplication, etc. Agenesis - can have otherwise normal biliary tract; associated with some chromosomal anomalies. Multiseptate - separate nonbile-containing spaces within gallbladder. Some are acquired. Porcelain calcification, associated with gallstones. Rare in children.
