My purpose within this chapter is to provide some insight through a narrative of self that highlights particular moments from a teaching episode that foreground my development from teacher to teacher educator to teacher educator-researcher. Such narratives have the potential to enrich our understanding of the emotional, sensuous, personal, and vulnerable dimensions associated with this act. Through this story I hope to illuminate how researchers can use such approaches to understand self and reflective practice, highlighting implications for professional learning and practice.
