Membranous nephropathy is a glomerular disease that mainly affects adults. In children, it can present starting from the first days of life, though it is more frequent in adolescents and young adults. Among glomerular disorders, it stands out as a disease whose pathogenesis in the last decade has been elucidated with the discovery of the driving antigen in the majority of cases, leading to the potential for simplified diagnosis and tailored therapeutic approaches. This chapter presents an overview on the different forms of membranous nephropathy that can affect children and on the advances in diagnosis and treatment that have been made in this exciting field.
