Abstract

The structure of the samples obtained from the aluminum alloy AA5056 after additive manufacturing and friction stirring treatment is investigated. The regularities of structure formation after additive manufacturing and after additive manufacturing together with friction stirring treatment are determined. It is found that the formed zones of mixing, thermal and thermomechanical influence have a structure similar to that formed during the processing of standard rolled sheet materials. The "healing" of the pore-type defects in the samples after the friction stirring treatment is revealed.
