Abstract

Our goal in this chapter is to summarize what is known about the origins, diagnosis, and treatment of children who do not achieve continence at the culturally expected time, or who revert to incontinence after training has apparently been successful. Psychological and behavioral problems that often co-occur with elimination disorders are also discussed. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2022 APA, all rights reserved)
