Abstract

In this paper, we propose an authorization and authentication framework for enabling users to access remote Cloud-based services in a moving vehicle. We utilize role-based access control model for authorization, and light-weight cryptographic operations for authentication. To verify the correctness of the access control policies, we implement the same on Access Control Policy Testing (ACPT) tool from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Moreover, we discuss and analyze the security and performance aspects of the proposed framework in detail.
