Abstract

Comprehensive reparation for victims of sexual violence in the context of the Colombian armed conflict requires satisfying the right they must know the truth about their cases and to be heard by society in general. This reflective-analytical article starts by surveying the main journalistic bad practices identified in previous research, with the aim of contributing and strengthening the journalistic treatment on the matter. Finally, it makes some recommendations as an approach towards the work that journalists are expected to carry out when dealing with sexual violence victims and survivors.
