Abstract

The article focuses on combat analysts and their roles in military operations. It notes that analysts play a crucial role in any military operation because they are considered as the proactive planners with the application of analytical tools and critical thinking. Furthermore, combat analysts must participate in exercises, war games and experiments (EXWAREX) to gain experience and boost their analytic capabilities to deployed leadership. It states that EXWAREX trained analysts how to fight.
