Abstract

Small sectors help in the country’s social and economic development with their effective, efficient, flexible and innovative entrepreneurial spirit. To survive and prosper in this agile world, these need to improve performance and competitiveness. In this research work, MSMEs are studied for their working practices. The investigations, based on surveyed MSMEs of India, cited that least orders are received through Internet. Produced quality does not suit to global marketplaces. Implementation of suitable type of advance manufacturing technologies with information technology tools can help these sectors to improve their performance.
