Abstract

The strategy used in this research is to select the best features using the genetic algorithm from various breast cancer dataset for getting better prediction results using machine learning algorithms. This research involves two main phases. One is feature selection using Genetic Algorithm (GA) and second is breast cancer prediction using Logistic Regression (LR) and k-Nearest Neighbor techniques (k-NN).
