Abstract

Formulate an end-of-life treatment plan for end-of-life patients who choose palliative chemotherapy. Select advanced cancer patients who are candidates for hospice care. Educate patients regarding the merits of hospice care versus palliative chemotherapy near the end-of-life stage and help them make decisions reflecting their goals.This article is available for continuing medical education credit at CME.TheOncologist.com.
