Abstract

The Alzheimer's disease incidence and prevalence double every five years with a prevalence of 40% among people with more than 85 years of age, and there is a great challenge in identifying the pathology in its earliest stages. The main focus of the work is to aid in the decision making on the diagnosis of the Alzheimer's disease, which will be made applying the method ORCLASS and the Aranaú Tool. The modeling and evaluation processes were conducted based on bibliographic sources and on the information given by a medical expert. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
