Abstract

This chapter describes the structure of this book and its four main sections: Overview of Science Education in Taiwan, Science Learning and Assessment, Innovative Technology for Science Learning and Instruction, and Curriculum and Teacher Professional Development. Also, this chapter highlights the scope of this work and the specific goals it sets out to meet for the readers.
