The thermoLab project: Thermophysical properties of superalloys

Abstract

Results on thermophysical properties at high temperature for a set of superalloys are reported. A thorough analysis of measurement methods and equipments has been performed and data obtained by different laboratories as well as during parabolic flights have been compared. Attention has been paid to characterizing the alloy microstructure. Model calculations of property data have also been performed for critical comparison to the experimental values.
