Abstract

After establishing the strategy, the organization and the behavior of the people have to be aligned to the strategy. The authors show in this chapter a multi-dimensional framework to read, understand and shape organizations: Organizations as structure, organizations as organisms, organizations as cultures, and organizations as political systems. They observed that there is a lack of attention, knowledge, and experience regarding organizational issues.
