Abstract

The zooplankton population of lake Ayamé consists of 45 species or sub-species: 26 rotifers, 15 cladocerans, 4 copepods. 20 of these species are new for the Ivory Coast. Several less common species (Dicranophorus claviger cf. venezueliensis, Bosmina tubicen, Thermodiaptomus yabensis) are characteristic of this population. © 1983 Masson.
