Abstract

Interfaces, via which applications in different administrative domains will interwork, like e.g. the Retailer Reference Point, have been developed by TINA-C. The paper presents an approach for a structured and modular composition of such generalised service architecture reference points. The proposal is based on experiments and experiences with implementations that are compliant to such reference point specifications. The paper presents a new approach for a structured and modular reference points. It allows for eliminating functional overlap when combining multiple Business Relationships to be supported at one reference point between interacting administrative domains. It can be applied not only for service provisioning, but also in their management, e.g. to assist business processes as identified by the TeleManagement Forum.
