Abstract

User experience of interactive systems has always been difficult to assess due to its subjective nature. In this paper we present a new approach to the evaluation of pleasure as an aspect of user experience. This multi-lateral approach, entitled MARPLE, is based upon an adversarial courtroom metaphor. © 2007 Jane Holt and Simon Lock.
