Abstract

In Austria, the written school leaving examination was centralised in 2015. This resulted from the government programme of the 24th legislation period of November 2008. These newly designed tasks will be analysed as an example of written central examination tasks in terms of modelling content. For modelling tasks, a range of significant criteria are known. On this basis, evaluation criteria for the modelling content of final examination tasks have been developed and applied to Austrian examples. With the help of the available empirical data, connections between the modelling content of a task and the success rate can be investigated.
