Abstract

Composites of polypropylene filled with carbon black P399 at different concentrations (5-15 % wt) were prepared by two-stage extrusion. The influence of filler concentration on electrical conductivity and physico-mechanical properties of the composites were studied. It was found that a 10-15 % of carbon black reduces electrical resistivity from 7.9 to 0.3 Ohm·m in polymer composites. The dependence of the physico-mechanical and rheological characteristics of the composites of polypropylene with carbon black is revealed.
